Get certified.
Eligible Disabilities
We are now accepting applications for individuals who are mobility impaired and aged 6 years of age or older. You will need to provide a copy of your Driver's License or photo ID, Vehicle License Plate or Handicapped Placard and/or a Physician's document stating your mobility impairment and/or reason for disability. If you do not have any or all of the above information, and believe that you qualify for All Terrain Georgia, please contact Melanie at 770-866-2815.
Buddy Requirement
Each qualified individual using an ATC must be accompanied by an individual, 18 years of age or older, in good physical condition who will be referred to as their “Buddy.” This person should be well hydrated and able to navigate park terrain alongside the ATC at all times. Individuals and their accompanying companion are required to attend a virtual training program provided during the pre-certification process and pass the course exam. In case of emergency, it is the Buddy’s responsibility to carry a charged mobile device at all times. In the event that cellular service is unavailable, the Buddy will be required to seek help by returning to the location where the chair was checked out as quickly as possible.
Precertification Requirements:
Submit a copy of buddy’s and participant’s photo ID and proof of disability (disabled tag/placard, medical record or doctor’s note)
Upon review, you will receive a link to the tutorial through Learnie.
At the end of the Learnie you will be prompted to take the examination. If accommodations are required, please email info@allterraingeorgia.org.
Within 7 business days of completing the exam, the user will receive a completion certification number and password to the members-only reservation system.
Happy trails!
